the keys that left behind memories

the piano keys we played along together
those piano songs we used to play together,
guan huai fang shi & canon in D pachabel
the song we composed,
those beautiful melodies were all destroyed by our very own hands
the scripts are all torn and tattered into thousands pieces,
but they're still in my bin, at that corner of my mind

i fear of touching of the keys because i fear of remembering
those haunting past, so beautiiful yet so tearful
it's coming to a year,
i thought i could forget about you,
i tried to wash you away from my mind, i really tried
i put myself in a new shoes again and again,
crush, like and even to fall in love
but its just soo different
i am not ready, till date, i'm still not
your actions & all still affect me deeply
still hurts & all

that long pathway from newton mrt to balmoral plaza was my stairways to heaven
that song canon in D is still my lullaby
the times & moments we had is still in my flashback
i really hate this feeling,

The feeling of being cheated is sooo much to be true
how cruel can that be too
the pain you've inflicted in me is more than to be overcomed
its you who led me into this disastrous state
i hate you for this
i told myself, the past is the past
everyday a new beginning, to free the past and be in glee
but i can't, i still fell into this darkness trap
i can't, i can't
i thought after twice, you'd have changed
i trusted you soo much, gave you all chances to change, believe you again & again
but you took the trust away from me, abused all authorities of chances to turn over a new leaf
yes, you did love me whole-heartly, but that was just an act infront of me
why put on that pathetic act infront me?
and end up, me knowing everything not from you, but others?
why try so hard to get me back, when you already have others by your side?
why cry so hard when all is just crocodile tears?

but above it all, i thank you for these
for i'm able to repent from all these lessons learnt & mistakes made
its quite an eye opening, to realise how the people around you can be soo true, & crafty
so much of their deviousness to achieve one's ends by deceit & evasion
you've brought me into reality,
and show me that this isn't my way of thinking, & my own world
we have to live in it, to like it or not
this fearness you've brought to me, is sinking me down
sooo down till the very depth of hatred for guys
the fear the hatred & the venge
but rest assure, i won't do anything foolish
